Hunt for the LED-toporosis reflector

Recently, browsing the www.mudah.my for FLX spare part and stumble upon the rear reflector complete with LED. Seeing the prices and the location of the shops within my neighborhood I decided to visit the shops. So, I bring my friend, Faiz Ghani the owner of the most shining Dash in southern region to visit the shops. The shops is located not far from my house and the time consume on the roads is just around 25minutes. Arriving at the shops, there was white Ford Focus undergo bumper changing procedure. The Ford has been mod to the max completed with TE37 green color 17” rims under wrapped of Falken tires.

After several minutes of amazed and gazed at the Ford,the shop owners come out and asked us what is the purposes of us coming there. I told him about the reflector and he said he have the items, but he is not sure whether it can be fitted into FLX rear bumpers. After several minutes of “agak-agak” measurement he said Yes it can be fitted perfectly.

We then asked him to install it but the time is not correct as the clocks show at 11.01 pm. We have to came tomorrow.

After bathing the FLX with 2 bucket method, I set off to that shops again for the reflector. After a little chat and prices negotiation the only question he cannot answer is the color of the reflector. I want the red reflector with red led inside but he only sell smoked reflector with red led. Ahhh.. I am so disappointed!

Smoked reflector at the back of my FLX is not nice and tak ngam. It would be rather funny for me. I want the standard look with a little tweaks and mysterious surprise inside all the items. If I would likely buy the smoked reflector, that is when I already obtained all the FLX 1.6 SE bodykit. After thinking for several minutes (30 min) I then make a decision not to changes.

The shop should inform me earlier if the red reflector is finished or what ever, not the next day I comes to the shops. I was also wrong, when I suddenly come to his shops without giving a call first for them to be ready.

So I went home unsettling feeling and un-LED-ing glow rear reflector. hmm..
