Hi to all readers, in the conjunction of this new year and the nearest festival of this years which is the Chinese New Year in the month of February its about time for you to start modding your FLX to the next level. 

This mod is about the exterior feature of your cars focusing onto the front bumper, rear bumper, side skirt and spoilers. 

Those pictures I am about to show you is based on my opinions and choices and giving you the rough prices of the items sold in the current markets. There are many choices and options that opt to your taste and flavor but this is the basic that normal modder will used. 

In my opinions, I prefer to mod my cars as elegance and simple enough so that people will see my cars not too messy and without losing the cars original characteristic and profiles. 

Of course I am proud to own a Proton. 

FRONT BUMPERS

Front bumpers style for choosing.

The front bumpers is the front face of a cars and its crucial for the front bumpers to fit nicely with the main frame of the body. The design also need to be able define the driver characteristics and a little bit of the driving style. Changing the front bumpers can defines the driver attitudes and styles. Those bumpers also can be used for aerodynamics purposes with the large front grill, and air intake to maximize the air flow from the front to the engine bays. This will give the engine more efficienct air cooling and lift to the front side of the cars. 

From the style given the numbers 1 choices is more likely to be rally style with the main attraction and style defining is at the large size of the fog lamp. Its also provide betters air intake to the radiator and middle air ways towards the center point of the cars giving uplift air force to the cars. The number 2 design is giving you more aerodynamics style and better front downforce and tyre cooling. This can be seen when the front bumpers tend to separate the air to sideways towards the tyre and brakes not forgetting the huge air intake towards the radiators for better cooling performance. The number 3 design give a better aerodynamics effect with perfect cut and air flows just like a bullet train. This option will give your cars a better and high end aerodynamics performances.

REAR BUMPERS

Rear bumpers style that can be choose

The rear bumpers also gives a big impact towards the cars appearances and driving styles. Its also does a pretty good job to maintain the cars on track with a correct down forces effect towards the rear tires  Rear bumpers also serves as a recognition and unique designation of the owners. Another drivers will approach your cars from behinds. From far away they will tried to recognize what cars is in front of them and them they will tried to see the numbers plate and then they will define you as a fast driver, moderate and slow poke drivers by looking at the rear bumpers of your cars. If the bumpers is just a plain design then they will not be felt threaten and though you are a slow driver. If you were using a fast styling bumpers design they will felt a little bit fear and be extra be careful not to pass you. The impact of the rear bumpers styling does give you a little bit fame and fear from the other road users. 

There are 2 choices of styling of the rear bumpers for evaluations. The number 01 bumpers give a good air lift towards the rear side of the cars and better air flow for increase aerodynamics. Its also give a better air flow to cool down the rear tire form heat up. The number 02 design give you a drag style and suited with the front bumper design numbers 03.

SIDE SKIRTS

Side skirts for your cars not your girls

The side skirts is important for cars moddings. Its a completion of a cars mods. If ones were to install a front bumpers the side skirts must be in pairs with it without the needs of the rear bumpers. Ones cannot install a front bumpers and rear bumpers without installing the side skirts because the whole mods will be useless if no side skirts is install for the completion. Front bumpers can stand alone, and side kirts and rear bumpers is dependent to the front bumpers. 

Side skirts is the completion of all mods. There are 2 design style that can be choose here. The number 01 design is a plain side skirts with the illusions of bulky and heavy feeling of the cars. Its good to reduce your car height if you want to make the side skirts looks more astonishing. The number 02 design give you a slim and flat design with several curves that will uplifted your side view of the cars. This is great for owners that want elegance and low profile styling. Either one is good design for me and design number 01 is a go for lower ride and design number 02 is for normal ride height at default.

SPOILER

BMW spoiler style

The spoiler is something you put on your rear bonnet so that your cars can fly if you drive at 350 km/h. The spoilers also the most easiest mod that can be found and there are so many to choose from. Originally its serve to make the rear end of your cars to stick on the tarmac all the times. That is, if you can get the setting right. Normally, people just bought and install what ever spoiler design they feel pretty to be stick onto their rear bonnet. So we should do the same although we own a GT Japan enormous spoiler we still drive at 80 km/h on the right lane of the highway and collected people curse and hand sign. 

Mod nowadays, prefer more petite and not to attractive spoilers. Modders also use Toyota Vios spoilers to be stick onto their FLX rear bonnet and its does a pretty good jobs also.

But for me the original spoilers from FLX Executive variant already does a good job to make the cars look beautiful.
